Here are some Search and Rescue organizations in the White Mountains


These are federal, state, local and volunteer organizations that exist to assist those in need in the backcountry. Many members are active EMS personnel, and all are well-versed in outdoor skills, and all are invaluable to hikers in an emergency. But, the less they are called on, the safer everyone is!
